The LD Bell Craft Fair was founded in 1987. It serves as a community outreach and student leadership activity. The Bell Student Council and the Career and Technology Department host the event, with participation from hundreds of students representing numerous campus clubs and organizations.

More than 300 booth spaces hold a wide variety of crafters and artisans. Their wares include fine art, home decor, jewelry, clothing and accessories for adults and children, gift items, seasonal holiday crafts, handmade toys, tutu's, fabric art, gourmet foods, bird houses, quilts, herbs, ceramics, books, sports collectibles, florals, art glass, fountains, metal work, yard art, candles, potpourri, soaps, bath salts, woodworks and much more.

All food concessions are staffed by campus groups as fund raising activities. These concessions include hot dogs, chili, fresh baked cookies, pizza, sandwiches, BBQ, donuts, breakfast items, baked potatoes, candy, popcorn, caramel apples, bottled water and various hot and cold drinks.

Fees collected from crafters for the booth spaces go into a campus fund that is used for educational enhancement. This fund has helped enrich the campus by providing instructional items benefiting the student body, curricular specific staff development opportunities, student incentives and building beautification
