The Holy City Craft Bazaar

Date: Saturday August 9th

Time: 11 am- dusk

Location: backyard of Reid Brothers fabrics and stereo (Corners of King and Spring St.)

The Holy City Craft Bazaar is an event focusing on locally hand made arts and crafts. Our intent is to showcase up and coming artisans while raising money for a local non-profit. The Yo Art Project is a local non-profit whose mission is to mentor inner-city youth. With programs to build self-esteem, and job skills with a focus on academic and community service through art work shops, exhibitions, and public art projects. The craft bazaar with feature booths of hand made wears crafted by local artist. Entertainment will include a kissing booth, raffle and talent show. All proceeds from the raffle and kissing booth to benefit Yo Art Project.

There will handmade clothes, paintings, screen prints, zines, knick knacks, paddy wax, baked goods and lemonade. Entertainment will be provided by a talent show with live bands. Sponsors such as 52.5, City Lights, Redux, Cupcake, Artists and Craftsmen, Elysium, Plum, Andolini's, as well as others local businesses will be donating items and gift cards to the raffle.
