Squidfire sent us a call for vendors for their spring show. These guys run a well organized, well promoted show. If you live within travel distance I highly recommend applying!
Squidfire,Inc. is excited to be hosting its 6th ever art mart. This years spring show will be held on May 9th in the lovely Mt Vernon Square park in Baltimore. This years event will host 60 artists from around the country. We’re nearly at capacity and we’re looking for the best and brightest out there to make this show the biggest ever. Setup will be from 9-11am with the show running from 11-6pm. A 10 by 10 space will be provided for $75. No electricity, tables or chairs provided. There are no formal applications, please just email me at jbr@squidfire.com with your website or a few low-res photos. No jewelry or fine artists please, only functional DIY craft.
Cinnamon of the Chicago Craft Mafia sent in this call for vendors for the Do It Your Own D*mn Self Show
On March 28th from 12-4pm at Pulaski Park Fieldhouse (1419 W. Blackhawk, NE of Milwaukee/Division/Ashland intersection) the Chicago Craft Mafia is having an inaugural craft SUPPLY show/sale.
We know everyone has tons of supplies that they’re just never going to use and we know that Chicago is full of crafters who would like to try something new but would love to spend less to try it out. So we’re encouraging crafters to sign up for a show where they can sell fabric, beading supplies, painting materials, yarn, tools, books, etc. Finished works are not to be sold.
To sign up go to http://www.diytrunkshow.com/join and fill out the application. Then send $35 payment via Paypal to chicago@diytrunkshow.com. We’ll have a total of 40 spaces, but they’re filling up fast.

The Indie Market is Bumbershoot’s arena for independent artists, designers, crafters, and retailers who break the mold of the traditional craft fair. If you are a craftastic entrepreneur or an independent retailer who supports indie craft artists, we want you to apply! Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to be involved in one of Seattle’s biggest gathering of artists and tastemakers. We encourage artists working in either new or traditional forms to apply. All types of work will be considered, with the exception of pre-recorded music, food, and beverage. Please note that T-shirts may be sold at Bumbershoot only with specific pre-approval.

Art Attack! Alternacraft Festival
Update: Art Attack! has been moved forward one week, and is now going to be on April 26
Luca from the Jersey City Craft Mafia let us know about an upcoming show in Jersey City, NJ, Art Attack! A portion of the proceeds from the show will go to the American Cancer Society. The show is on April 26, and vendor applications are due March 16.
